Pilot Terms
Baseline conditions for evaluation and pilot use of Impartis. Institution-specific written pilot or procurement terms control where they conflict with this page.
Pilot purpose
Impartis may be used during an evaluation or pilot to test research ingestion, structured evidence review, audience-aware communication, institutional search, collaboration, briefings, and governed output workflows. A pilot is an evaluation of product fit and reliability; it is not a representation that every enterprise requirement or integration is generally available.
Authorized use
You must use an account you are authorized to use, follow your institution's data and research policies, and upload only material you are permitted to provide to the service. You may not use Impartis to bypass access controls, probe another tenant, distribute malware, or intentionally submit unlawful material.
Research and AI outputs
Impartis assists with extraction, synthesis, and communication. Machine-produced findings, claims, summaries, cohorts, briefings, and outputs are not automatically authoritative. Researcher and communications review gates exist because users remain responsible for verifying scientific fidelity, permissions, institutional policy, and final publication decisions.
Impartis does not provide medical, legal, regulatory, grant-compliance, or research-ethics approval. High-impact communication should receive the independent human and institutional review appropriate to the subject.
Data handling
The Privacy Notice is part of these Pilot Terms. Standard pilot use is not approved for regulated or highly sensitive data unless Story Stroll/Impartis and the participating institution have separately established the required contractual, security, and data-processing conditions.
Availability and changes
Pilot software may change as defects are corrected and workflows are refined. Impartis may limit a feature, model operation, integration, or file-processing path when necessary to protect data integrity, tenant isolation, scientific review controls, or service stability. Material pilot limitations should be disclosed in the product rather than silently failing.
Institution-specific terms
If Story Stroll/Impartis and your institution sign a pilot agreement, order, data-processing agreement, security addendum, or other written terms, those signed terms govern to the extent they conflict with these baseline Pilot Terms.
Ending a pilot
Either side may stop pilot participation according to any applicable written pilot agreement. Authorized workspace owners can request export and offboarding through Impartis. Deletion behavior is described in the Privacy Notice and in the Organization administration controls.
